You can switch between no tint and 70%, 50%, 35%, 20%, 15% and 5% VLT. These are the same shades we install, so what you pick in the simulator is what you can ask for at the shop.

VLT stands for Visible Light Transmission: the percentage of visible light that passes through the glass and film together. A lower number means a darker tint, so 5% is almost limo-black while 70% is a light, nearly clear film.

Yes. Tap "Try your car!" and upload a JPEG or PNG. The simulator detects the windshield, side and rear windows automatically and applies the shade you choose. Photos are processed only to generate your preview and are not stored on our servers.

Ontario requires front side windows to allow at least 70% VLT. Rear side windows and the rear windshield have no legal limit, and the front windshield should stay clear apart from a sun strip along the top. Use the simulator to compare a 70% front with a darker rear, which is the most common legal setup.

The simulator is a close approximation. Real-world results vary with the film type (ceramic, carbon or dyed), lighting, and the factory tint already in your glass. Bring your preferred shade to the shop and we will show you physical samples on your own windows before installing.
